Pregnancy Yoga is a fantastic way to prepare for labour, motherhood and beyond. At Butterfly Yoga our classes for pregnancy are designed to strengthen and soften by guiding you through a class specifically designed for the wonderful journey of pregnancy. As well as addressing common pregnancy aches and pains, pregnancy yoga also helps cultivate breath awareness and by connecting with your breath and practicing breathing techniques you can prepare physically, mentally and emotionally for the birth.
Our classes, conducted in a calm, peaceful environment will help strengthen the uterus and pelvic muscles, improve circulation, aid in digestion, exercise the spine and increase overall comfort during this exciting time.
Yoga can also alleviate many of the discomforts of pregnancy such as nausea, constipation, swelling, back pain and sciatica. Even with no yoga experience pregnancy yoga is a great way to remain mobile right up to the birth.
