Kids Yoga at Butterfly Yoga is awesome! Our sessions see children exploring their imagination by going on fun adventures like journeying through a rainforest, soaring into space on a spaceship, making friends with animals in the farmyard and much much more! These sessions are active and interactive with a typical class involving yoga postures, music and relaxation.
Through the practice of yoga we encourage children to use their imagination, become independent, confident, resilient and strong.

Many children dont have the ability to concentrate for periods of time and yoga is a great way to enhance and improve this. As your child becomes familiar with the yoga postures they automatically improve their concentration skills, and through regular practice your child learns how to sit still in one place and focus on what’s important as opposed to letting their mind wander and be distracted easily.
Children who practice yoga regularly feel good about themselves and are healthier and happier than those who don’t. When leaving a yoga class children feel both mentally and physically rejuvenated which in turn boosts their overall well-being.
